Der Centaur, halb Mensch, halb Pferd, auch Bär/Löwenähnl.(Ägypten) In Babylon als "wilder Eber" dargestellt. Gemeinsam ist die Darstellung eines sehr kräftigen, männlichen Tieres. Die Fruchtbarkeits- und Sexualsymbolik ist unverkennbar. Centaurus wird übrigens nicht seit jeher mit Waffe abgebildet, mit welcher er den Lupus aufspießt, sondern in den ersten Abbildungen sieht man, dass er ihm einen Zweig überbringt. |
